Gagan Furniture House started its business roots in the town of Dhariwal, District Gusdaspur, Punjab as the first wood factory in the town by late S. Hari Singh Nagi in the early 1930s. The business was small, but yet growing in order to met the demands of the customers. The business turned from not only supplying wood pieces, it happened to manufacture various types of wooden products (e.g. doors, windows, bed, table, wooden textile parts for wool mills and much more…).  

After the passing of S. Hari Singh Nagi in early 1960s, his son S. Fauja Singh Nagi and grandson S. Gurdashan Singh Nagi continued to work towards his dream to turn the family business into, “A well repetitive wood furniture manufacture” and here started the growth of the business to becoming one of the best furniture manufactures warehouse in Dhariwal. In order to make his dream come true, the business started by increasing their wood pieces such as, tables, doors, window and bed frames, which were made from pure wood and produced into furniture that furnished many homes. 

The town labeled, Gagan Furniture House as one of the main suppliers of home furnishing. The business has provided its towns' peoples and neighboring towns with high quality, affordable, and a variety of furniture. In 1999, the great grandsons of late S. Hari Singh Nagi became major supporters of the business and have turned the small town business into a national furniture and wood manufactory. Today, the business is managed and operated by Gagandeep and Depinder Singh Nagi, who continue their great grandfather’s legacy of manufacturing and furnishing homes all across the state with beautiful handcrafted and machine produced hundred percentage wood pieces. Today, not only does Gagan Furniture use computer technology to design the furniture to build one of kind wood products, but also continue to be handcrafted. 

Over the years, this family owned business has established itself as the primary supplier and manufactory of furniture. Once a small town showroom and timber shop with a few wood pieces to choose from has turned into a two stories, large showroom with variety of beautiful sofas, bed sets, bed frames, dinettes, cabinets, computer desks, coffee (center) tables, shelves, office furniture and much more. The business has expanded not only in size of the showroom, but management has also hired skilled employees to meet customers’ requirements. In addition, business also started doing interior designing by Gagan Furniture’s that provides services to hotels, restaurants, schools, shops, and of course homes, “Where comfort begins".
